In Memory of Alan Watt

We are shocked and saddened by the sudden passing of Alan Watt who died unexpectedly in his homeThursday, the 4th of March, 2021.  He was a very private person, and we ask that you all respect that.  From all over the world, people are inquiring about a funeral or memorial, and many wish to contribute to a fund, or to attend an event.  We are moved by your generosity and by your desire to honor him in this way.  There will not be a funeral and there are no plans for a memorial in the traditional sense of that type of event.

Alan was a pretty amazing man.  Here is his bio from his website:

Wee Bit Bio:

Alan Watt is a long-term researcher into the causative forces behind major changes in historical development. His background is that of a renaissance man with accomplishments in three professions, plus having various books published in religions, philosophy, poetry, mainly under pseudonyms. For much of his life (for main income) he was heavily involved in the music industry as a singer/songwriter/performer involved in folk music, blues, pop, rock, and even classical. Also known for his session guitar work, he has played with some of the most well-known artists and groups.

Born in Scotland, he watched the subtleties of politics and media as they guided the population of the U.K. covertly into a European Amalgamation. He has been warning the North American people for some years now that the same process of amalgamation is being carried out.

With historical documentation, he shows how cultures are created and altered by those in control, always to lead the people like sheep into the next pasture. Learn the true esoteric meanings of mystery religions from one who knows.

We’re reeling at this loss.  It’s absolutely devastating.  Since the Covid-19 saga took shape, Alan has been putting out amazing talks.  Four and five hours each Sunday in his unique style, putting it all in context.  Showing us how we got this far into absolute horror.  Always backed up by deep research.  We feel lost and not sure what we’ll do to keep our sanity without his voice.  We want him to still be with us here and to keep telling us the TRUTH week in and week out.  But he is no longer with us and so we all want everyone to know who he was.  Some want to erect a giant stone monument that says “an amazing man has left our world.  Let’s come together and honor him and celebrate him.  Let’s memorialize him.”

However, Alan never wanted his work to be about him.  He didn’t want a cult of personality.  He didn’t care about subscribers (that game is rigged.)  He didn’t want to be “liked” on Facebook or “followed” on Twitter.  He taught what he knew (which was vast) so we could learn and in turn teach others.  He wanted us to be individuals, to think for ourselves, to be our own champions.

A memorial is a ceremony to honor the memory of someone.  We can honor Alan Watt’s memory by making a living memorial, by continuing to learn and to teach others.  By making the hard changes in our own lives so we can live fully in the truth.  In this way, we go far beyond a one-time ceremony.  We keep his memory alive within us every time we share what we learned from him with another human being.

As time passes, and we move past the shock and heartbreak and the feeling that we’re left without guidance in this terrible time, some simpler gesture like a bench in a quiet place to observe nature might be created for those who want a physical place to remember and honor Alan.  We’re sure of one thing:  Alan had a sense of urgency about this time we’re in right now.  He has left us a vast body of work from which to learn.  Keep learning and keep teaching.  THE TIME FOR DEEP CHANGES IN OUR OWN LIVES IS NOW.  And for those who are so generously offering to contribute to a memorial fund, please continue to order his books and discs, and donate to keep his sites going.  We’ll uphold his work in this way and keep it alive.  This is the kind of memorial we believe Alan would want.  Hang in there because this war we’re in now is The War for Everything.

We leave you with a quote from Alan Watt:

"When you can break through this System with all of the sciences behind it and the Wisdom of the Ages that's meant to keep you in a mental straitjacket from birth 'til death -- When you've overcome that, you've overcome the world, and you can go on from there."
